This is an authentic DeWalt replacement part manufactured for use in portable band saws. This metal roller allows the blade to move through the guides. The roller is sold individually, although four are required.
Removed the guide, removed the roller and the bearing axle. Placed the new roller and the bearing in the new guide. Installed the axle in the new guide, the roller and the bearing. Repeated for the other side of the guide.
1. Take picture.
2. Remove blade.
3. Remove bolts and bearings- rollers( pay attention to thier position on thr bolt).
4. Blow out debris.
5. Reinstall as removed. ( removable locktite on bolts )
6. Remove tire and slightly heat and reinstall new tire. (On the idler).
7. Reinstall blade.
8. Test
