1. Remove pawl nut.
2. Remove old pawl and washer.
3. Clean worm gear.
4. Insert new pawl and washer.
5. Replace pawl nut.

This repair was on a revo sx.It was quit easy one screw one side plate hold down and remove the front face.The cap unscrews with a screwdriver and everything else just fell out.Puting in back together was just as easy.
