This one hole window bracket is part of the exhaust assembly, it is placed in a window, and the vent I placed in the hole. The hot air is pumped away from the machine, through the hose, out of the vent, and through the window. This allows the air conditioner to effectively and efficiently cool the room. The exhaust hose and the window vent are sold separately. This one hole window bracket is made of plastic, and it extends up to 38 inches to fit in your window. No tools are required for the installation of this replacement part. This window bracket is sold individually.

Original Exhaust tube was too short to cover window space.
We looked online for the model of this unit. Found ereplacementparts.com and they had all of the parts we needed. Very simple and easy to install pieces snap together. Really no need for tools
Bought a portable ac unit from a local pawn shop, It was missing all the parts to vent the hot air out through the window and drain condensate from the coils. I only had to connect pieces together; hose, window bracket, drain plug. No tools required. I got a remote that was missing as well. Everything worked great.

I got a sweet deal on a Floor model but the entire window kit was missing
Simply replaced the damaged part of the window bracket with the new one. Easy job. I was very pleased that I was able to find a replacement as this portable A/C unit is over 5 years old.
Threw the broken bracket away and attached the new bracket.
