This is an original manufacturer-approved replacement part which is specially designed for use with DeLonghi air compressors. Its purpose is to secure the angled exhaust hose which is sold separately. Over time it will wear out and may get damaged eventually requiring a replacement to ensure a proper fit. Refer to the owners manual of your model for the correct application. Keep in mind it is made of durable plastic and is sold as an individual component. Replacing it is a simple task that does not require any tools, simply remove the old and secure the new.

2 times not the right part
Twice we ordered a part to connect the exhaust hose to our air conditioner. Both times we talked to a representative because the parts shown on the computer monitor were not clear enough. Both times we were assured that the part had plastic hooks hanging out to attach to the air conditioner. When each of the parts arrived, neither had plastic hooks. Yes, the parts came in good condition. Yes, they came quickly. Yes, it was easy to return time. But they were the wrong part. We have given up and have duck taped the hose to the air conditioner.
