This expandable hose is the OEM for my portable AC unit (5 years old). The plastic ends are different than mine but they screw off easily and I screwed my originals on. I just hope they have improved the plastic in the hose so that it doesn't become brittle so soon. The hose must be this diameter for the AC unit not to overload.

Removed old hose along with tape I had sealing it to the unit and just slide new exhaust hose in and turned it to the right to lock it in place. Very simple repair.

Bought a portable ac unit from a local pawn shop, It was missing all the parts to vent the hot air out through the window and drain condensate from the coils. I only had to connect pieces together; hose, window bracket, drain plug. No tools required. I got a remote that was missing as well. Everything worked great.
