I did not know which of the parts was malfunctioning. The cost of the parts was reasonable, so I replaced both the electronic ignition module and the igniter switch module. The ignition module had instructions, the work was very easy, anyone can do it. Simply take your time, mark the wires so you know where to attach the new wires. The gr ill lights up like new.

Removed the igniter, ignition module, electrode and trough. Only tool required was a pair of pliers. Replaced each item and wiring and replaced the battery in the ignition module. Cleaned the grill thoroughly and turned on the gas. Igniter worked first time. Cooking currently on the grill. All went well and the food tastes great!

Installed new tubes and connected electrodes to new module. Very simple and just connected electrode wires to new module as they were connected to old module. $70.00 dollars in parts saved a $500.00 grill my wife wanted to throw out! Thanks eReplacementParts and will be ordering a few more parts in the future!
