Removed the plastic housing on the gear box/transmission and then I removed the broken drive cable. The replacement part was a perfect fit. My lawnmower is back to working as good as new. Your repair will be easier if you use a small tipped standard screwdriver to help remove the old drive cable from the gear/transmission arm that holds the cable. One similar to a Jeweler's screwdriver. I am a retired accountant, if I can do this repair anyone can.
