It is an authentic OEM item which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer. The belt connects to the transmission in order to assist in driving the unit. Parts Used
1. Removed spring from drive belt tensioner pulley and removed mower drive belt from the pulley as well.
2. Unplugged clutch control wire connector on left side of the engine (runs to clutch underneath engine).
3. Removed clutch/pulley assembly from vertical engine shaft (underneath engine) by removing a single shaft bolt on bottom of the shaft. I used a vice grip and socket wrench for this step.
3. Removed worn drive belt, replaced with new drive belt.
4. Reattached the clutch/pulley assembly.
5. Reconnected clutch control wire connector.
6. Reconnected spring for drive belt tensioner pulley, ensuring drive belt is properly sitting correctly in all pulleys and tensioner is doing its job (belt is tight).
7. Reconnected mower drive belt, ensuring mower drive belt is sitting correctly in all pulleys and is taught.
8. Reconnected battery.
9. Started engine and performed a test drive.
10. Good to go!

Remove the belt idler assembly install new belt , install new idler pulley to the assembly and reinstall the assembly and tensioner spring.

Idler pulley was wore out so I replaced the belt and the pulley. The grease caps would sometimes come off when you bump something so I replaced them.

Removed the electric clutch on bottom of engine that drives the deck. Installed new transmission belt then replaced the clutch. Removed the idler pulley and replaced with new on. Removed the spring on the tensioner pulley and installed new belt then put spring back on and that was it.

I ended up removing the bolt the spring attached c
To because the spring kept falling off. Instead I attached the spring directly to the tensioner then over to the adjustable bnb eye bolt. Once it was tightened it was fine. The belt was tight.

Main drive belt for ZTR Mower Sliiping. (10 Yr old Belt)

Had to remover blade belt and move clutch wiring out of way by unhooking wiring from on top of motor deck. Drive belt pulley was top belt over drive assembly on motor. All was hard to get to. Changed out and mower drives like new one again,

Tension pully bearing went out on the drive belt, It was easy to get to on a zero turn mower.
