Product Description ?

This primer bulb assembly is a genuine replacement part manufactured for use with outdoor power equipment. The plastic primer bulb is used to move fuel from the tank to the carburetor, and back. Primer bulbs can wear or rip, it is necessary to replace worn primer bulbs to ensure fuel is cycled through the carb. This primer bulb snaps in, so tools are not required to install, the bulb is sold individually.

The part was delayed due to covid19 issues. However I was told upon order it would be 10 days before they could ship it. Not so. I received within 10 days of the order being placed. My tiller is now running. Great job! FYI...I rarely give 5 stars, but no room for improvement here!

The PB was easy to install. I had called and spoke to a lady to ask it the gas tube came with this PB. She looked it up and said yes. When it arrived there was on Gas tube. It is now in the shop to be fixed.

Questions & Answers for Asm, Primer Bulb

The parts diagram #30 shows the Prime bulb, gas line and clamps as one unit. When I look at #30 to order it only shows the Prime bulb. Just want to make sure it all comes together.

I had a small hole in the Primer Bulb

Pliers, Socket set, Needed only one socket to remove two nuts

This was a very simple repair.. I had to remove the air filter cover and two nuts on the carburetor housing. I disconnected the the hose to the primer bulb, I popped out the old bulb and used a pair of pliers to pull the new bulb into place and put the air filter housing back together. It took about 10 minutes. When I tried to get this fixed in a repair shop, I was told I would have to replace the entire air filter unit since the primer bulbs are not sold separately. The cost would have been $60. Ordering the bulb and doing the repair myself cost me $20.
