Very easy, did not really need any tools. It needed a good cleaning first. After, I cleaned it up a little, the replacement parts installed easily. I tried a bunch of cleaners on the stainless finish. The cleaner \"BARKEEPERS FRIEND\" easily brought the stainless steel finish back to \"like new\" appearance.

Wheels were jammed with debris; troughs were rusted through.

1. Inserted lock-pin in each old wheel so that each could be unscrewed from the grill.
2. Inserted lock-pin in each new wheel so that each could be screwed onto the grill.
3. Removed old troughs.
4. Rubbed high-heat cooking oil onto the new troughs and inserted troughs onto the grill.
5. Turned the grill on and cooked a steak. The infrared grill cooks as if it were new!
