, Cut Plywood and use glue & \\\'filler material\\\'.
My original throat plate was fine, but I made a ZERO CLEARANCE throat plate from the new throat plate.
1) Cut a piece of 1/8 inch thick plywood to fit over the clearance hole from the bottom side of the throat plate opening with about one inch on either side of the opening for the blade.
2) Be sure not to interfere with the RIVING Knife operation. Use an appropriate GLUE/EPOXY to secure it place. Be sure properly prepare the bottom surface to allow for proper adhesion.
3) After the GLUE/EPOXY dries, fill in the 'opening at the hole' with AUTO BODY filler [or similar material] to make the top surface flat and flush to surface to the original top.
4) After everything is dry and ready to 'raise the blade', CLAMP/SECURE a board over the throat plate and slowly raise the blade through the closed over opening to create the ZERO CLEARANCE opening for your blade.

I am making ZERO Clearance Insert Plates for my DIFFERENT saw blades used.
1) Cut the 1/8th " plywood to size and shape to provide necessary clearances on the underside of the plate to allow the plate to be installed back into the saw opening. Be sure to make the width wide enough to overlap the blade opening on the plate, but do not allow this piece to interfere with the location of the RIVING KNIFE fit when installed back into the saw. 2) Now cut another piece of 1/8th " plywood to be the exact width of the actual plate opening. be sure the width is an exact fit to fill the opening [again being careful not to interfere with the RIVING KNIFE position). 3)Place the first piece of 1/8th " Plyw under the plate opening in position under the opening. Then place the PLATE on the first piece to confirm that you have NO INTERFERENCE to reinstall the throat plate back into the saw. Temporarily tape the pieces together and 'MARK' the location for a final fit later. 4) Once the top surfaces are FLUSH you can glue the pieces in place with Contact Cement**...first the under side piece of plywood to the plate and then the second piece into the opening from the top surface. [** follow the instructions for the Contact Cement application to the surfaces.]

    Not even close
The thickness and length of this Ridgid table saw throat plate did not match my R4514 saw. Even if the dimensions matched, it did not have adjustment screws for leveling.
