Keep in mind that this part is priced individually. The rear end cap attaches to the spring plate and is made of plastic. If this part breaks it will need to be replaced. A screwdriver may be necessary when replacing the cap. This is an authentic part from Ridgid for table saws.
1 removed old switch and marked wires.
2 turn table saw on it side and loosen up the power cord and the motor cord from the box.
3 put new switch on and hooked wires back up.
4 tightened up the power cord and the motor cord

When I first got my table saw I made the mistake of moving the saw without securing the fence. It slid off the top of the saw, hitting on its end and breaking the rear cover and a small nylon slider.
To repair the fence I only had to remove one screw from the back cover and one screw from the slider, replace the new parts a reinsert the screws. It was very easy to locate the appropriate parts on the website. It will take longer for my embarrassment to subside than it did to order the parts and fix my screw-up!

I have 10 year old Ridgid TS2400LS table saw. Parts for that fence not available. I bought parts for R4513 saw and modified the fence assembly to fit my saw.
Removed end cap screw and installed new part securing it with screw.
