Exact replacement part; easy to replace.
I broke my trigger inadvertently and thought I wouldn’t be able to find a part for it. This worked perfectly. Just remove a bunch of torx screwed and change the trigger. It took 5 minutes.

The repair was fairly simple. I just took the trimmer motor housing apart. I took a picture of the internal parts so I would know where they went, especially the springs, removed the broken trigger and replaced with the new one. eReplacementparts.com parts diagram of my Ryobi 40 volt trimmer made identifying the right part easy. Will use again.
