    There are three holes on the blade and on the plastic housing. Aligned with one hole and attached blade with the screw.

    Broken plastic guard on Grasshog line trimmer

    1. Removed broken plastic shield by removing the 2 attachment screws
    2. Attached the new string trimmer cutter blade to the new plastic guard.
    3. Attached the new plastic shield with the 2 screws that I removed earlier.

    Because the blade was missing, the string would tighten on the spool instead of releasing more string.

    1. Removed the guard with the hex key
    2. Secured the new guard with the hex key
    3. Attached the blade with 3 small Phillips head screws

    Trimmer cutting line ate through the guard which caused the line cutting blade to come off and become lost.

    Install new lever
    And then complete the install with other items in reverse
