This replacement sanding belt is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Ridgid sanders. The part is fitted onto the sanding drum and is used to sand irregular types of surfaces and materials. This high-quality sanding belt is sold individually. No tools would be needed to replace the old belt with the new one. Make sure to check the owner\\\'s manual for the correct application. Always feed workpiece from right to left against the direction the sanding belt is rotating. To reduce the risk of injury from accidental start, make sure tool is unplugged before removing the sanding belt assembly.

Release the belt tension with the tension lever. Remove the old belt. It is a good idea to blow all the sawdust out of the sander while the belt is off. Place the new belt over the rollers and re-tension. Turn the sander on and use the tracking knob to center the belt.
