This starter rope is an authentic Echo replacement part and is compatible with trimmers and brush cutters. When pulled, the starter rope engages starter spring causing the engine turn fast enough for the ignition module to generate a spark to ignite the fuel in the cylinder. This part is made of nylon rope and is sold individually. To install the rope, you will need a screw driver and socket wrench. Turn the starter spring to build tension and recoil the rope inside.
