This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part that is specially designed for use with Chicago Pneumatic impact wrenches. It helps to provide an air tight seal for the air inlet brushing. Over time the material may deteriorate and crack eventually requiring replacement to maintain proper seal. It is made of durable rubber material and it is sold individually.
Remove roll pin near base of handle with punch.
Remove air assembly, o rings, seat and gasket. Note orientation of seat.
Reverse steps to reassemble.
