Disassembley:
1. Removed handle/bag/emptor assembly (pulled pin from handle fork and rotated emptor counter-clockwise) and front beater-bar attachment from vacuum.
2. Carefully removed label from switch cover to reveal hidden screw.
3. Removed upper switch screw that was under label, and lower switch screw underneath low er/rear of vacuum.
4. Removed all 3 Motor Shell Mounting Screws (front/underneath, left, right), and removed Motor Shell. (might want compressed air outdoors to remove inner dust mess)
Inner Motor Shell Handle Spring Assembly:
5. Removed set screw, C-clip (on bushing), and D-clip (on spring shaft) from inner handle spring assembly.
6. Replaced bushing and yoke, aligned set-screw hole and replaced set-screw while spring is slid to the left on the shaft (out of the way).
7. Hooked spring on set-screw with yoke in first notch of bushing (light tension) by hand. Then used 4\" Vise Grips on bushing to tension spring and position yoke on middle notch of bushing.

Reassembly:
9. Positioned switch to wrest on motor @ approx. 45 deg. and replaced motor shell with 3 mounting screws.
10. While holding onto the switch button, replaced upper switch screw, then flipped vacuum to replace lower screw (weird angle easy to cross-thread in shell).
11. Cleaned sticker backing and mating switch-plate surface with acetone, reattached sticker with several pieces of double-sided sticky Scotch tape.
12. Replaced handle/bag/emptor assembly with pin, and beater-bar attachment.
