This is a genuine Toro replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer and is intended to be used with trimmers. The plastic cap is used to cover the bottom of the spool. The cap has tabs on the sides that snap into the trimmer drum so tools may not be needed to install the cap. This item is priced as a single item.
Remove old spool cap by depressing tabs, remove old spring and old spool. Replace spring and spool inside of spool housing, snap the spool cap back on.
Took off broken piece put on new one, was a little hard to get cap on, not strong in hands anymore, But works well. Will use you again, thanks for concern
