I took out all of the screws from the handle where the trigger is located. I made sure how the spring and trigger were placed in the handle. I removed the broken trigger and took out the cable. I took the new trigger, put the cable in it and put it and the spring in the handle. And put the handle together. I used some soapy water to slid ... Read more

Every three years or so the bump and reel need to be removed and replaced.

1. Cleaned out area of bump.
2. Checked for c clamp, inserted new one.
3. Slid on bump reel after removing cut line.
4. Tightened bump reel nut.
5. Fed in line as normal.
6. Primed engine x 5, pulled x 3, and off I went whacking and trimming.
