This is an OEM part which is specially made for Ryobi handheld lawn and garden equipment. The check valve connects between the breather hose allowing air into the engine. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. One durable plastic check valve is included. You may need a screwdriver to perform this repair. Check the appropriate diagrams for your specific model to ensure the exact location and the correct application.
