2-Cycle engine was hard to start and had trouble running

2. There are two screws that hold the carburetor to the manifold, two hoses to the gas tank (which are difficult to confuse as to their placement given their respective lengths), and a simple hook-up to the idle switch. Very simple.

2. Removed fuel lines to carburetor.
3. Used nut driver and torx tip to remove long machine screws.
4. Carefully removed carburetor from intake, preserving mounting gasket.
5. Unhooked throttle wire from carburetor.

7. Pressed primer bulb and fuel started to draw after just a few presses.

Remove the two torx screws holding carb to intake
Remove fuel lines noting which line attaches to which port.
Save the carb to intake gasket if possible. Gasket is no longer made
Remove throttle cable noting installation direction, can be installed two ways and will bind if on ... Read more the wrong side. simple slide out of the mount hole and reinstall on new carb.
Install fuel lines
Align screws with gasket and tighten back down
Reinstall air filter
Adjust idle if necessary
