What is the proper clearance between the assembly and the rotating magnet?

Hi Benjamin and thank you for contacting us. The easy way to set the gap is with a business card as it is the same clearance. Loosen the bolts securing the magneto then insert the business card between it and the flywheel rotate the magnets on the flywheel to the magneto and let the magnets pull it into place, tighten the bolts and remove the business card.
