Product Description

This throttle cable assembly is a genuine manufacturer sourced part. It is specially produced for use with a variety of handheld string trimmers and edgers. Throttle cable is connected to the carburetor and it stops the engine when you shift the lever to the full choke position. Please note, this item is sold individually. To complete this repair you will need a screwdriver and pliers.

Broken throttle cable

Disassembled weed eater, removed broken cable. Connected one end to the throttle trigger and the other end to the carburetor.

Removed air filter cover and replaced previous cable attached to the throttle with new one. Removed throttle trigger cover replaced trigger with new one and fed new cable to connect with it.

2. Disassembled trigger handle assembly
3. Removed old trigger and throttle cable, saving trigger spring
