This replacement air filter is a genuine OEM sourced item that is specially designed for Husqvarna blowers and trimmers. It is used to filter out dust and debris from going into the carburetor and the engine. Please note, this foam filter is sold individually. Replacing this air filter is very easy and it does not require any tools. • Remove the filter cover • Replace old filter with the new one • Secure the filter cover
Removed air cleaner cover.
Removed wire clipped to engine cover by removing allen headed bolt.
Removed starter buy removing 3 allen bolts.
Flipped engine over
Removed plug wire
Removed the spark plug
Turned the trimmer upside down to allow access to engine the pan to align motor mounting pins.

Replaced spark plug
Replaced plug wire ensuring the plug is contacted
Replaced top engine cover
Clipped control wire back to cover
Removed the air filter cover
Inserted the new air filter and replaced the cover
Tighten all allen headed bolts to spec.
1. Changed spark plug, set the gap at 0.025
2. Fished the fuel line out of the tank with hook at the end of wire.
3. Changed fuel filter.
4. Removed the air filter cover and replaced the air filter
Removed top screw to cover of motor. On left side squeezed open top clip and pulled side cover off. Took replacement filter and lined it up with holes on the side of motor, replaced side cover back into place into the clip. Proceeded to reinstall main cover with one screw on top. Done. Took less than 5 minutes to replace from start to fin
