Took an old wire coat hanger made a smaller hook on one end to grab fuel filter and line to remove it from gas tank (cap end), replaced the cap.

1. Changed spark plug, set the gap at 0.025
2. Fished the fuel line out of the tank with hook at the end of wire.
3. Changed fuel filter.
4. Removed the air filter cover and replaced the air filter

Replaced the filter after cleaning out the fuel tank. Fresh gas and a new filter, all ok.
