Removed plastic cover then removed the recoil cover that holds the string you pull once off look inside there will be a Phillips screw remove it and the spring damper is there replace and put everything back together
I found your You Tube video on \"Replacing the Damper Spring\" It made the job very easy. Here is the link to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIYzPDFAvIs
1. Remove the plastic cover over the pull rope assembly .
2. Remove the pull rope assembly and spring damper.
3. Replace the spring damper with the new one.
4. Attach the pull rope assembly.
5. Replace the plastic cover over the pull rope assembly.
You are ready to go cutting.
1. Remove the pull cord assembly.
2. Remove the screw from the pull cord.
3. Remove the spring.
4. Pop the new spring in.
5. Put everything back in reverse.
