This manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with a variety of handheld lawn and garden equipment. A lock nut is a type of nut that resists loosening when properly threaded onto a bolt. This is a standard hardware which will have multiple applications based on your equipment. This lock nut is made out of metal and it is sold individually.
Primer Pump:
NOTE - Empty fuel tank before starting any work. Next, be sure to clean area around the Primer Pump before you remove it to avoid dirt/debris from getting in the pump.
1. Remove fuel tank guard/shield with a 3 mm Allen wrench.
2. Remove screws holding the fuel tank to the motor with a Phillips screwdriver.
... Read moreDO NOT remove the fuel line from the tank. Just move the tank out of the way to have access to the Primer Pump bracket.
3. Remove the Primer Pump bracket with a very small Phillips screwdriver.
4. Install the new Primer Pump.
5. Installed fuel tank.
6. Installed fuel tank guard/shield.
Air Filter:
1. No tools required. Air filter cover knob can be removed by hand.
Fuel Filter:
1. Remove the fuel filler cap.
2. Use a stiff gauge wire, or something you can \"hook\" the fuel line with, to pull it out of the fuel tank.
3. Carefully pull the old fuel filter off by hand then install the new fuel filter.
4. Install fuel line and filter back into the fuel tank.
Fill fuel tank with fresh fuel/oil mixture.
Prime pump and start.
Check for fuel leaks around Primer Pump.
