Edger (about 10 years old) wouldn\'t start because the primer pump had worn out.

Primer Pump:
NOTE - Empty fuel tank before starting any work. Next, be sure to clean area around the Primer Pump before you remove it to avoid dirt/debris from getting in the pump.
1. Remove fuel tank guard/shield with a 3 mm Allen wrench.
2. Remove screws holding the fuel tank to the motor with a Phillips screwdriver. DO NOT remove the fuel line from the tank. Just move the tank out of the way to have access to the Primer Pump bracket.
3. Remove the Primer Pump bracket with a very small Phillips screwdriver.
4. Install the new Primer Pump.
5. Installed fuel tank.
6. Installed fuel tank guard/shield.

Air Filter:
1. No tools required. Air filter cover knob can be removed by hand.

Fuel Filter:
1. Remove the fuel filler cap.
2. Use a stiff gauge wire, or something you can \"hook\" the fuel line with, to pull it out of the fuel tank.
3. Carefully pull the old fuel filter off by hand then install the new fuel filter.
4. Install fuel line and filter back into the fuel tank.

Fill fuel tank with fresh fuel/oil mixture.
Prime pump and start.
Check for fuel leaks around Primer Pump.

Remove the carburetor from the blower engine, disassemble it installed carb kit.
Remove the old spark plug and install the new spark plug.
Remove the air filter cover and install the new filter

Cracked primer

Remove the four screws from the primer cover, then remove the old primer and install the new primer and screw the cover on. Remove the air filter cover, then remove the old filter and replace it with the new filter. Remove the old spark plug and install the new plug gapped at 0.026

Fuel leak

Drained the tank, removed tank guard and tank. Pulled fuel tubes off carb. Removed grommet. Installed new bulb. Threaded fuel lines through grommet. Attached new fuel filter. Installed grommet into tank. Attached fuel lines to carb. Secured tank and guard. Installed new air filter.

Took wire off back of old switch
Took air filter off.
Took retaining nut off front of switch
Pulled old switch out from back side
Installed new switch thru back of housing
Installed nut
Plugged wire on back of switch

Removed air filter cover and air filter. Removed two screws holding the carburetor on the engine which housed the air filter case. Cleaned everything with degreaser. Installed new air filter case using same two screws, new filter and cover. Started engine.

Remove the screws from the primer cover and remove the old primer and install the new one
and screw the cover back on.
Remove the air filter cover and the old filter. Place the new filter in and attach the filter cover
