Genuine OEM replacement part, this item is sold individually. The purpose of the part is to cover the air filter on the outdoor products shown below. It helps keeping larger pieces of debris from coming in contact with the air filter. While providing enough clearance for air to enter the carburetor through the air filter and mixing with the fuel to make the unit run properly.
Removed the throttle trigger from handle, replace with new one, remember how the spring is attached. Removed fuel line grommet from tank. replaced both fuel lines and vent tube. Removed clip from fuel line and replace fuel filter, secured with clip. Installed grommet. Also replace the worn fuel cap and dented air filter cover
Replaced the spark plug, air filter, fuel filter, and muffler components to improve air, fuel, and exhaust flow. Used a hooked pick to pull the fuel filter from within the gas tank. Had to make a new fuel line wire clamp.
The cover didnGÇÖt come with a screw so I had to search through my thousands of miscellaneous screws.
ItGÇÖs good to have a supplier with an easy to use website, simple order process and reasonable freight costs.
