This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement recoil starter assembly. It is specially designed for use with Echo handheld lawn and garden equipment. This is the starter assembly that allows user to start the equipment. This assembly consists of a plastic shroud, starter pulley, recoil spring, plastic handle grip and the the pull rope. Please note, the hardware to secure this assembly is sold separately. To complete this repair you will need a hex key also known as an allen wrench. • First remove the (4) screws that secure the old assembly • Remove old assembly and secure the new one

Simply bolted on the pull start assy..it was that simple.funny story,I tried buying one at a local lawnmower shop..waited 2 weeks to find out they forgot my order..I got it cheaper on line anyways..I will always shop on line..its awesome and fast
