Updated version works great.
Very different from the original but it installed easily and works great. Haven't had to reload it yet but anticipate it going well since it is an Echo replacement part.

Great Part
Bought a new head for my echo last year, old design, wore out with very little use. This upgrade so simple to install and was weedwacking in minutes. We will see how easy it is to reload the line.

Very easy repair to replace line trimmer head
I was concerned when I placed my order whether the part would fit the model I had because there was no exact description of whether it had left-handed or right handed threads to fit the trimmer. I trusted that if it said it would fit my model that it would fit. It was a perfect fit and works very well

2. The new head was a direct replacement and I just screwed it on by hand.
The job took less than 5 min.

Old trimmer head was getting harder to \"bump\" to feed the line. I could have fixed it with a new spring but figured, at 15 years old, I\'d just give it an upgrade.
Removed old trimmer head by inserting a hex key into the hole(s) at the base to hold the trimmer shaft in position. Removed the old head by simply unscrewing it from the end of the shaft. Simply did the opposite after some very minor assembly of the Speed Feed head and started trimming with the trimmer line that is pre-installed in the ne

Primer bubble was busted on blower. The line head was warned out on weed eater.
Only had the flat factory head that you manually had to put the 2 pieces of string on the head. I replaced it with the bump feed head. It works amazing!! Went on very easily!
