This replacement screw is a genuine OEM supplied item that is designed for use with Black and Decker and Dewalt power equipment. It has multiple uses depending on your unit, for correct application please make sure to check appropriate diagrams. It is made from durable metal and it is sold individually.
1. Had to loosen the screw.
2. Had to use some WD40 to free the screw.
3. Once the screw was out the old guard slipped right out.
4. Slipped the new one in and replaced the screw with the new one.
1. Removed the bail, the screws, and the guard, from the B&D 13 inch, 49 volt Lithium String Trimmer (Model LST136). Screw removal was difficult.

6. Removed wire harness tie down, transferred to the new housing with motor and wires.
7. Connected the spindle and motor, gears meshed and rotated into the housing.
8. The spring for the release/rotate button needs to be watched during assembly.
9. Snapped housing together, Installed the screws. This was the hard part, very difficult to screw into the new housing. The best fit I had was a Number 2 bit. I oiled the screws lightly, tightened them, let them sit for awhile, and did several rounds of tightening, eventually they were seated.
Comment: Overall this was, should have been, a ten-minute job, but the difficulty with the screws made it an annoying chore.
