Remove engine, remove tine assembly, remove tins and handle bars. Remove all bolts and nuts holding gear case frame together. Take plenty of pictures to help aid reassembly. Wash all parts and bearings an inspect for damage and wear. Order needed replacement part. Put machine back together

Bearing on stub shaft bad.

Remove engine, tines and covers, wheels, handle and controls. Separated two sides of transmission case leaving gear shafts in place on one side. Do not disassemble transmission unless a \"before\" picture is available. Remove most of the gears to gain access to gears with bad bearings. Bearing outer race welded to bearing. Took some time to completely remove all of bearing and clean gear. Very greasy. Needed help reassembling the two transmission halves, one to install one side, other to guide gear shafts into place, very frustrating . Lots of bearing grease needed. Suggest hand lubing all bearing before reassembling. Takes time but maybe reduce later bearing failure.
