1. Tapped out old arbor with brass hammer after removing pulley.
2. Put new arbor in freezer for a couple of hours to shrink it.
3. Lubricated arbor bearings outer race with white grease so wouldn\'t rust.

Replaced it with a lot less problem than I anticipated.
By tilting and adjusting the position of the arbor I was able to remove the retaining nut. I used a hammer to drive the old arbor out of the bearing. ... Read moreo put the pulley on the shaft as well. Getting all of that aligned was not easy especially working under the saw table. Suggest cutting a block of wood to slip on the threads in place of the pulley then using the nut to pull the arbor into the left bearing. Then add the pulley.
