By tilting and adjusting the position of the arbor I was able to remove the retaining nut. I used a hammer to drive the old arbor out of the bearing. I replaced the left bearing as well as the arbor using a wood block to tap both into place. I used the retaining nut to pull the arbor into place. This wad somewhat difficult because I had t o put the pulley on the shaft as well. Getting all of that aligned was not easy especially working under the saw table. Suggest cutting a block of wood to slip on the threads in place of the pulley then using the nut to pull the arbor into the left bearing. Then add the pulley.
