Product Description

?

This Ball Bearing is sealed on both sides. This genuine Delta replacement part is sold individually. rnrn • Ball bearings minimize friction between rotating parts in your tool. The balls or rollers bear the load and spin, distributing the weight evenly, while the minimal contact area of the balls reduces friction. This reduces wear on the tool, allowing it to run smoothly. rn • Bearings experience constant wear when the tool is in operation from pressure, heat, vibration and friction. Because of this, many Bearings need periodic maintenance or replacement.

Arbor threads were stripped off

Dan from Bradford, New Hampshire

1 person found this instruction helpful.
Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
30 - 60 mins
Tools:
Pliers, Socket set, Wrench set
Learned to strip down and dismantle my table saw without doing it before. Pull out the tools, start taking things apart and off until you get to the parts you\'re replacing. Order parts from model # parts list, and then try to remember how it all went back together.. and order all new threaded parts if any involved in your repairs.. ne w parts dont match the old threads so getting 90% done and not being able to finish the project is a bummer..

I found the correct bearings on this site, ordered them and when they arrived I replaced them. This is a Delta Unisaw and it was much easier to remove the top to gain access to the arbor and remove it to reach the bearings. The saw hums like it should. Thank you.
