This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Graco paint sprayers. This filter fits just behind the spray nozzle and prevents large debris from entering the nozzle to aid in a smooth continuous spray. The filters come in a pack of three and the three packs are sold individually.

Sprayer stopped working, would not prime with water to flush and clean. Paint residue dried inside.

Removed inlet valve and spring. Replaced and cleaned the matching face on the inlet to insure a good seal.
Removal of spray tip filter hampered by dried paint. Old screen tore away while trying to unscrew (left hang thread). Pried carefully around edge of threads to loosen as much as possible. Used reverse opening snap ring pliers inside the remaining nub get sufficient grip and leverage to break free and remove. Replaced with new screen reassembled with protectant in paint cup, plugged in and primed. Worked fine!
