The oil seal goes between the gear case and the flange bearing. This authentic item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with snowblowers made by Murray and Simplicity. The part is sold individually and is made of metal and rubber. A screwdriver might be helpful during the installation of this part. It will need to be replaced if it breaks or loses its seal.
