This is an authentic OEM part for use with Craftsman Snowblowers. The auger clutch cable engages the auger assembly. The most common reason for replacing the cable is when it is broken, causing the snowblower to not properly pick up snow. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the auger clutch cable is a 3/8" socket.
