This is an authentic OEM part which is specially designed for Ariens snowblowers. The auger cable engages the auger and allows it to collect snow and propel it out of the chute. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a damaged component that was installed on a new unit. You may need needle nose pliers and a screwdriver to complete this repair. Refer to the owner's manual and the diagrams for your model to ensure the correct replacement procedure. Note, this high-quality rubber insulated auger cable is sold individually.
