The auger cable engages the auger and allows it to collect snow and propel it out of the chute. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a damaged component that was installed on a new unit. You may need needle nose pliers and a screwdriver to complete this repair. Refer to the owner's manual and the diagrams for your model to ensure the correct replacement procedure. Note, this high-quality rubber insulated auger cable is sold individually.
