Easy to replace. I put wd-40 on the nuts a few days before the repair. I would replace both half\'s if your snowblower is old, as the impellers wear down. Mine was 17 years old! works great!

Replacing the impeller

It was relatively simple repair. I had already removed the broken impeller using a socket set to remove the bolts holding it together. When the new part arrived, I simply fit the slots in the new parts on the pins, held the two pieces with one hand while placing a bolt through the pre- drilled holes. It was easy and took maybe 15 minutes to replace all of the bolts and snug them tight.

Broken impeller

I removed the broken impeller and simply replaced it with my new impeller halves. There were no instructions needed. Though there were instructions included. This was a very simple repair. Thank you for your prompt and curious service.

1- Remove the bolts and washers securing the Impeller half
2- Remove the screws and nuts from the old scraper, then install the new one
3- Install the impeller with new bolts and washers

Remove the bolts and washers from the old impellers
Remove the old impellers
Install the new impellers with the bolts and washers
Removed the nut and screws from the old scraper
Replace with the new nuts and same screws and attached the new scraper
