Read on this Replacement Parts website a comment from someone having the same problem I was having with aligning blade in upper clamp stating that their problem was caused by a bent screw in the clamp.
Removed screw from upper clamp and saw that it was indeed bent causing clamp to not align properly.
Replaced with new screw and problem was solved. Be careful when you remove screw as spring in clamp will cause everything to come apart if you donÆt hold assembly together.
Thanks to the person who posted their comment with the solution to my problem.

1. I replaced the spring and clamped it in with the keeper You have to be very careful when you do this or the spring will fly out. Make sure both sides of the keeper are on the dogs before you let go of the keeper.
2 I inserted the screw and tightened it down with a screwdriver and nut driver. Job done.
