This is an authentic manufacturer approved replacement part designed for Delta scroll saws. This special nut is generally used to adjust clamping action of the holder. Turn locknut clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen the clamping action of the blade holder. Very little movement of locknut is necessary Please note this nut is sold individually. No tools needed to adjust.

Drove the pin out of the old pad. Reassembled the new parts. Installed the blade

General replacement of worn parts

1. Used a small clamp to ease spring tension on the blade hold and pads and keep them from separating
2. Remove worn parts ( hex head screw and lock nut
3. Replace with new parts (hex head screw and lock nut)
4. Remove small clamp
