Small straight blade screwdriver used to remove retaining ring, disassembled
parts in order, installed new parts suggested in reverse order and tool is like
brand new, took maybe ten minutes including sips of coffee. I already have
a list of parts for other tools that need some TLC, have told friends about your
si te and they are impressed as well. Thank You Moe

1. Removed the retainer clip from the end of the quick release chuck, caution there is a spring underneath, so disassemble carefully.
2. Remove the quick release thumb sleeve.
3. Remove the collar below the thumb sleaze. The spring and bearing should stay in place.
4. There is a retaining clip below the collar. In my cas e this was not in it\'s grove on the shaft.
5. Pull up on the shaft, while pushing down on the retaining clip below the lower collar to lock it in place.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.
Be careful if you take off the retaining clip there are free floating bearings under the washer that will fall out.
