This item has been sourced from the original manufacturer and is intended to be used with table saws from Ridgid. The metal arbor nut fits over the outer blade washer and is used to secure the saw's blade to the arbor shaft. A hex socket wrench is needed to install this item. The arbor nut is sold individually.
I installed the handwheel for my table saw by removing the cap then unscrewing the handle from the damaged handwheel. I then raised the blade so I could easily install the arbor nut and used the new wrench to remove the messed up arbor nut. I was able to replace the blade and completed my project.

Blade height adjustment hand wheel was broken and the arbor but was stripped out.

Hand wheel replacement:-
1. Open the handwheel knob all the way out.
2. Remove the hand wheel from the broken elevation wheel by removing the rubber cover and unscrewing the nut.
3. Attach the hand wheel to the replacement and put it in the slot and put back the handwheel knob
Followed manufactures instructions for Ridgid R4513 table saw.
