This carbon brush set is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with Milwaukee compound miter saws. Over time brushes will wear out requiring replacement. It is advised to replace both brushes at the same type. This set includes two (2) carbon brushes with lead wires and springs attached. Please note, brush holders are sold separately. You will need a screwdriver to complete this repair job. • Make sure the tool is unplugged • First remove the housing/cover • Remove the old brushes • Install the new brushes • Reassemble and test the tool

Removed old parts and cleaned everything up so when I got my new parts they would be ready to install. Used it yesterday to cut up fire wood,( dimensional lumber ) Worked Great.

Replaced the brushes, they were not worn and replacing them did not solve the problem. I also purchased grease for the main bearing, doing that resolved the problem.

Brushes needed to be replaced. The rpm \"s were too low to cut wood.

1. I Removed the outer cover.
2. Removed the motor cover.
3. Removed the old brushes.
4. Installed the new brushes.
5. Reverse above steps

Removed defective brushes. Cleaned sawdust from interior. Installed new brushes. Re-assembled. Works great.

Saw stop working, when I took brushes out, one of them fell into pieces.

Just open motor cover, and replace brushes. I also replaced the damaged kerf plate set.
