This service keft plate is an authentic Milwaukee item designed for use with compound miter saws. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of these plates is to reduce splits of the wood and prevent pieces of it getting jammed between the blade. Please note, this item includes (2) hard plastic kerf plates per order. The hardware to secure these parts is not included, it is sold separately.

Kerf Plates Were cracked, the vacuum hose adapter was easy to get on and fits into by dust collection system way better than a dust bag.

Nothing fantasy just removed the screws on the broken kerf plates and used them on the new ones.the vacuum hose adapter sticks straight out and easily attaches to vacuum collection system.way better than the dust bag.

Removed the screws from the old kerf plates and removed them.Then screwed in the new kerf plates. Then installed the elbow and dust bag on the saw
