The original retaining ring on the shaft of the front roller of the belt sander had lost its spring after removal and replacement a couple of times. The belt sander is about 25 years old. Use retaining ring pliers to install the new retaining ring.

The torsion spring broke which allowed the planer to skip when you tried to feed wood in to it.

I replaced the worn sprocket and tension ring and the torsion spring which stopped the skipping when planeing. The parts I ordered were shipped promptly for a reasonable price and they solved the problem. Very happy with the service I received.
