Took off old pad and replaced with new pad. Had to replace all parts that came in kit which included the brackets below the pad. Had to study a while before I found out how to take off old brackets. Once I realized how to do it, it was simple.

It was easy, just 4 Allen screws I removed.
The pad came off being loose when the screws were removed.
The base was next, it was a tight fit to remove, rocking back and forth while pulling and cam off.
One problem I had was, the parts kit did not have the replacement gasket for the base to sander.
So I had to be careful and remove the old one.
Reinstalled the gasket to new base.
I used an air hose to blow out all the sanding debris in sander .
Mounted base to sander and making sure the plastic mounting legs line up into base.
Set new pad with its aluminum plate onto the base.
Installed the 4 allen screws.
Added sand paper and works great......

Milwaukee does not include felt replacement ring in kit. Necessary to carefully peel out old felt ( with double face tape) in order to reuse. Strange because directions say not to use old parts!
